The Moment It Became Real
August 14th arrived like a cosmic alignment I’d been waiting for all my life : The Ætherial Academy was published.
My father’s birthday gift was real, the tribute I’d poured my entire consciousness into was now alive in the world, ready to find the readers who needed to remember their extraordinary gifts. But nothing could have prepared me for August 18th – that Monday when I held the physical copy in my hands for the first time..
Tears of Cosmic Recognition
I remember staring at this object – this actual book with my name on it, containing every word that had flowed through me during those transcendent writing sessions.
The emotions hit me like a wave I’d never experienced before, and that’s saying something given my ultra-empathic sensitivity; I know 99.9% of human emotions intimately, but this was different. It was a mix of pure joy and something I couldn’t even name – something close to “I made it”, but deeper, more profound. I cried tears that came from a place I didn’t even know existed within me.
The most surreal part? Realizing you can literally publish a book in minutes through modern technology, which gets printed and delivered within days. The speed of manifesting cosmic downloads into physical reality is absolutely mind-blowing when you stop to think about it. I immediately offered the book to my father at the altar I’ve created for him in my home. Since he transitioned to the cosmic realms, I’ve kept that doorway open so he always has access to this world through my space.
Holding The Ætherial Academy in that sacred space, I felt his presence so strongly.. I’m absolutely certain he loved it from wherever his consciousness now resides.
Mission accomplished, tribute delivered, first book created..

The Accidental Discovery of Book Rankings
Here’s what’s hilarious about being a debut author with zero industry knowledge : I never thought about anything beyond publication.
Marketing? Promotion? Those concepts existed in some distant realm I hadn’t even considered, I was solely focused on offering my dad his birthday gift. But curiosity got the better of me and I started checking Amazon sales out of pure fascination. That’s when I discovered something called “best seller ranks”. My first reaction was this naive “oh okay, that’s how some books get labeled as best sellers!”
There I was, ranking in 3 different categories, and I had absolutely no clue what that meant. I’m a first-time author, independently published, with zero connections in the book industry – essentially lost in the ocean of millions of books and established best sellers. But instead of feeling overwhelmed, I found myself embracing every bit of these discoveries, each new piece of information was like uncovering another layer of this world I’d accidentally entered.
The Realization : My Tribute Deserves Exposure
Something shifted when I realized that while I’d completed my personal mission to my father, The Ætherial Academy still deserved to find its readers.
The consciousness evolution story that had flowed through me, the activation codes hidden within its pages, the characters who felt more real than most people I know – they all deserved to reach the souls who were waiting for exactly this kind of awakening. I went from “mission accomplished” to “well, I worked this out, I offered it to my dad, now I have to promote it the best I can to give it the exposure my tribute deserves”.
Discovering the Goodreads Galaxy
When I started looking for platforms where authors should have a presence, Goodreads felt like THE starting point – like the cosmic center of the book universe.
So yesterday, I created my profile, diving into this new world with the same curiosity that had led me to write The Ætherial Academy in the first place. Then I discovered something magical : my book was already there! And there was this mysterious “is this you?” link calling to me. I clicked it, completed the author profile submission and a few hours later – boom!
“YOU’RE A GOODREADS AUTHOR!”
I have absolutely no clue what that officially means, but I’m playing this cosmic game with full enthusiasm, I’m adding many books I’ve read, entering their reading challenges, completing every section to give potential readers a glimpse of The Ætherial Academy energy.
Building My Digital Consciousness Bridge
Of course, before diving deep into Goodreads, I needed to create my cosmic home base.
My website became this three-part sanctuary : TRANSMISSIONS – where I publish daily notes about my book and the consciousness evolution journey; MESSENGER – the space where I describe this beautiful liminal existence of being half-character, half-author; and CONTACT – a direct portal for anyone who wants to connect via email. The website felt essential, it’s a frequency bridge where visitors could tune into the Jeanne Universe and understand the deeper mission behind The Ætherial Academy.
The Highway to Somewhere Extraordinary
And now? Now I’m standing at this fascinating crossroads with absolutely no map but infinite curiosity.
I’m a Goodreads Author (still figuring out what that means), I have a book ranking in Amazon categories I’m learning about, and I’m discovering an entire ecosystem of readers, authors and book lovers I did not knew existed last week. What I love most is this feeling of being on a highway to somewhere I can’t yet see, but knowing with absolute certainty that I’m exactly where I need to be. Every day brings new discoveries about the book world, new platforms to explore, new ways to connect with readers who might be ready for their own consciousness evolution.
The Ætherial Academy found me at 3am with a cup of cold coffee, and now it’s teaching me how to navigate this incredible universe of books, readers and literary community. Each step feels like another cosmic alignment, another layer of the journey I never expected but was always meant to take.
The Adventure Continues
Being a debut independent author is like being dropped into a vast, fascinating world where you understand maybe 3% of what’s happening, but where every discovery feels like magic.
From formatting specifications to Goodreads profiles, from Amazon rankings to reader communities, it’s all part of bringing consciousness evolution stories into the world. I may not know what’s next, but I’m absolutely certain that The Ætherial Academy will find its way to exactly the right readers at exactly the right moment.
After all, cosmic timing has been perfect so far.
